| ★Life as an intern..
May 30, 2015 // 0 Fuschia
It all started at school.. One time, I was busy chatting with my classmates while editing stuffs regarding with our feasibility study. Meanwhile, one of our classmates told us to give our contact numbers to the dean. We were astonished as he revealed the news; we passed Dolefil's examination! Yay! Five of us were so blessed since we don't need to write application letter and stuffs, and of course, who wouldn't love to be trained in one of the biggest agri-business company in the world?Requirements were given to us and wow.. there was a long expensive list of those!!! Anyhow, we still complied those tests. I was hesitant to pass my urine test because of my period. Hahaha. Also when I passed my stool, I used three papers to cover the vial but the medtech told me to remove those and I was like, "are you serious? my poop looks like Jollibee's swirl and it looks so disgusting". I almost forgot, medtechs are used with those. ~_~ Finally, when all the requirements were ready, Mark, Raymund, and I went to the company and passed them. Sadly, Raymund couldn't come in because of his crocsy slippers. Haha! He really loves that thang! After a few days of waiting for the real deal, the first orientation finally started. There, we met different students from different schools, different personalities and different characters. There were nice, super nice, not so nice, nice nice, fake nice. LOL! So... the training started. I was first assigned in the Agriculture Dept., then in the IQF, and finally in the Box Plant. So blessed to work on the different areas of the company. I remember when our superintendent asked us one by one on our expectations within the training, I answered, "I want to have fun while learning". Expectation, CHECK! :) Thank you Dolefil for this wonderful experience. The management and the supervisors for helping and guiding us all throughout our training. To the people in EDC, thank you so much for your care and love to us trainees. To the workers, who were so kind and willing to entertain us and also to my buddy who was with me in sickness and in health (LOL).. THANK YOU. I really learned a lot during my training. I realized that the lessons taught in school should be taken seriously and that the knowledge that we gained should be maximized. With this, I learned to appreciate and love my field more, Industrial Engineering. God really has a plan, a better or maybe He has the best plans ever in our lives! He sent me into this field without me knowing anything about it in the first place. Haha. Thank you Lord, above all. :)
